August Releases 3 Smart Access Control Systems to Make Visitors Easier

Science & Technology (Eskimo) smart home company has officially released August 3 new intelligent access control systems, including second-generation SmartLock door locks, SmartKeypad locks and SmartDoorbellCamera doorbell camera.

According to reports, the second-generation SmartLock brought a series of design upgrades, including the new magnetic panel and stainless steel indicator on the lock sleeve. Because it is compatible with Apple's HomeKit, it also allows users to directly issue voice commands through Siri, instead of only opening a companion application for related operations. This door lock has now begun pre-sales, the price of 230 US dollars (about 1460 yuan), while a generation of SmartLock is reduced to 200 US dollars (about 1269 yuan) sales.

The weatherproof SmartKeypad makes it easier for visitors to provide temporary access. Instead of requiring the visitor to download the August application to use the one-time Bluetooth password, the user can directly set a PIN code of 4-6 digits and then share it with the visitor through SMS or other means. Like previous Bluetooth passwords, users are free to set the validity period of these PINs, whether hours or days. SmartKeypad is priced at 80 US dollars (about 508 yuan), listed in the next few weeks.

The last doorbell camera is also weatherproof and has a lot of intelligence. It incorporates a standard motion sensor that commands the camera to turn on when someone is detected in front of the door. Therefore, it can not only send a notification to the user's mobile phone when an abnormality is detected, but also provide a real-time monitoring screen, allowing the user to instantly understand the status of his/her door. The price of this camera is 200 US dollars (about 1269 yuan).

In addition, the camera can also work with other equipment of August, such as opening the door for express delivery, and record the picture of it entering and leaving the house. However, this camera needs to be powered by your existing doorbell cable. If you don't have a doorbell at your door, it's a bit trickier.
