Access control systems are widely used in smart communities, office buildings, and important areas that require security. However, in areas with higher security requirements, the requirements for access control systems will be higher. Avery International (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. designed and manufactured a set of access control systems using contactless personal data proximity cards and face recognition, and achieved good results.
The basic working principle is that the user inputs personal data using a proximity card, and the data is sent to the background to identify the host. At the same time, the front-end CCD camera also sends the face data of the sender to the background to identify the host. The identification host determines if the person is legal. The flow of action is as follows.
According to this process, Avery divided the system architecture into three parts.
1, front-end access control with input, display, and control actions;
2, removable positioning CCD camera;
3, host identification host (Host PC);
We know that CCD Camera is a fairly mature commodity; face recognition mode has a wide range of development organizations and factories that have ample room for choice; only the front-end access control machine is responsible for inputting personal data, controlling the movement of the CCD, and displaying the LCD. Responsible for sending the data obtained by the front-end access control machine to the background host; it is also responsible for accepting the instructions from the back-end host to control the execution of "open door", "refusal", "intrusion to illegal entry" and other functions. This must be designed and developed by oneself.
Due to space limitations and commercialization requirements, the size of front-end access control machines cannot be made very large. Therefore, a compact, compact, highly functional controller that can be connected to Ethernet must be selected to develop some dedicated peripherals around it. Functional modules can accomplish this task. Avery chose I-7188EX, an embedded controller manufactured by ICPDAS, and developed its own X999, X600, X102+X103 and other special modules to create front-end access control systems for face recognition systems.
This block diagram of the access control machine is as follows:
Access control function description:
1, I-7188EX: Embedded Ethernet Network Controller
a. Communication interface with backend host;
b. Monitor and control front-end modules
c. Storage monitoring program.
2, X999: front-end device control module
a. CCD camera motor positioning control;
b. LCD display panel interface;
d. Keypad data processing;
e. Non-contact contact card data acceptance interface;
f. Buzzer control line.
3, X600: Store data.
4, X102/X1O3: Open the door monitoring circuit and alarm processing.
Why use I-7188EX as a controller:
1, compact, compact, in line with volume requirements;
2, Built-in MiniOS 7 operating system, can provide Ethernet communication function;
3, can provide I / O monitoring expansion module, we can easily develop peripheral special function modules;
4, can download the monitoring program to facilitate the development of the application program;
5, good value for money.
